We had a fantastic evening at the prestigious kbbreview Retail & Design Awards last week, where we made the final four in three categories, including Bathroom Showroom of the Year, Bathroom Retailer of the Year and Bathroom Designer of the Year.

Comedian, Jimmy Carr, led the evening entertainment and our Bathroom Showroom Manager, Marie Hobson, even got to meet well-known interior designer, Linda Barker.

The awards, part of the kbbreview Conference, was held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole and featured keynote speakers such as Jonathon Wagstaff, Alno International Chief Executive and Paul Rowland, Managing Director of C.P. Hart.

Presentations were also given by Pete Champion, Director of 3D Design at London-based design agency I-AM and Ffion Francis from Houzz.
Spinks Bathroom Showroom Manager, Marie Hobson said: “Pete Champion from I-AM was fantastic and a real highlight of the conference for me. He spoke about showroom design of the future and new technologies that the industry needs to embrace.

“Ffion Francis from Houzz also gave us an insight into the latest bathroom and kitchen trends from the data they collect from their app users – it was a real eye-opener.”

Sadly, Spinks didn’t take home any awards on this occasion, but it’s not the first time we have been shortlisted (in 2014 Spinks was nominated for Bathroom Showroom of the Year) and fingers crossed it won’t be the last. Could it be third time lucky? We certainly hope so!

As a kbbreview Awards finalist, we are also delighted to be featured as Showroom of the Month in April’s edition of KBB Review Magazine, so be sure to keep a look out!
