“The installation team was brilliant,

very clean and tidy!”

Mr and Mrs Harrison contacted Spinks to help transform part of a new extension into a downstairs shower room for all the family to use.

The couple decided they wanted to open up an external wall from the existing house to create a new entrance for two simple reasons.

The couple are keen gardeners, and wanted to be able to get cleaned up easily as well as having six grandchildren who enjoy playing in the garden and didn’t want mud trails throughout the rest of the house!

After the initial construction works had been completed, our team could get to work.

The couple wanted to incorporate furniture into the design so they could hide everything away, they didn’t want the room to be too light as it would be a high traffic zone with their young grandchildren using it frequently.

They also desired a shower with a built in seat to be installed.

The project took just three days to complete to ensure minimal disruption to the Harrisons and their family.

The walls and floor were covered using large stone effect tiles which complimented the similar coloured mosaic tiles underfoot in the walk in shower.

A seat was also added alongside a contemporary double shower head, a sink sitting on a dark grey vanity unit, matching toilet, and a modern mirror finished off the room perfectly.

Mrs Harrison said…

“Marie designed everything for us, she was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the shower room we have has exceeded all expectations. It’s a room all the family will be able to use for many years to come.”

Our showrooms are closed but we're still here
On 2nd November following the announcement of the current lockdown we sought clarity from the Government via the BMF (Builders Merchants Federation) around the situation regarding our showrooms. The response on 2nd November from a Government representative was that we could continue to operate our showrooms as normal under our Covid 19 safety restrictions.
The Government has now changed this advice and late yesterday (17th November) we have now been asked to close our showrooms which we have done immediately.
We are still open for enquires and  design requests and hope to be welcoming customers again into our showrooms on 3rd December. Thank you, and stay safe.
