“The walls in the barn are not straight so the book case was tricky – but Spinks pulled it out the bag!”
The Harrisons knew they wanted to create a feature book shelf / library but didn’t know how so turned to Spinks for some project management and creative ideas.
Showroom manager John worked on this bespoke project to give the Harrison family somewhere to house all of their books.
The design needed to work with the traditional but modern look of the room and the family piano would also be housed in there so this was also taken into consideration with space planning.
John created three different sized units for the book case so that the space looked uniform but interesting, and the furniture colour was chosen to compliment the beams of the barn conversion directly above.
The result speaks for itself, a full wall of books on show, which the family love. All the family’s period furniture helps complement the case and all the space was utilised offering a roomy, astute room in the house.
“John totally delivered on this project and we love the finished result. Its brand new but offers an older look which is in keeping with the theme of the room”
