“The bathroom was designed as a surprise

for our daughters and they love it!”

The Finlay family ultimately had a blank canvas to work with after they took on an old barn to completely renovate.

They required a whole host of new rooms creating and one was a joint ensuite bathroom for their two young girls.

The family wanted an ensuite bathroom creating that was neutral but had bright, girly mosaic tiles to jazz it up a little but wouldn’t date as the girls grew up.

Our team had a budget to work to on this project and had to make it as glamorous as possible whilst keeping to the agreed financial plan.

Lucy wanted double sinks with a vanity unit underneath and an individual mirror, one for each child, a shower and a bath.

The initial plan was to create a Jack and Jill style bathroom with two entrances for both girls to be able to access the room from their own bedrooms.

It quickly came apparent that this plan wouldn’t work due to the amount needed to be included in such a small space. The design was soon altered to have just one entrance, so a second door way wouldn’t impact on space.

A beautiful, girly bathroom has been created, using white tiles and sanitary ware throughout except for the glistening mosaic tiles.

The bath has a shower head included alongside the built in shower cubicle for practicality and at the request of the girls.

The tiles were used throughout but don’t deflect from the stunning sleek lines of the bathroom and frame it perfectly.

Lucy said…

“Marie was fantastic, she visited us a few times throughout the project, she worked within our budget and came up with exactly what the girls were looking for!”
